Bracket: dead. Fantasy leage: alive!

In case you were wondering, I came in dead last in the NCAA bracket. Once UNC and UCLA lost in the Final Four, I hung up my scientific method for good. On a happier note, I did manage to use my dismal finish to swindle a free entry into next year's bracket. On the whole, $10 well spent.

And then I got invited (read: dragged) into a fantasty baseball league! Don't I ever learn? This time I used foolproof weapons - my memory and my gut - to pick my team. I don't think I did too badly, either. Here's my starting roster for the week:

C: Jason Varitek (Bos)
1B: David Ortiz (Bos)
2B: Ian Kinsler (Tex)
3B: Ryan Zimmerman (Was)
SS: Miguel Tejada (Hou)
OF: Hideki Matsui (NYY)
OF: Kosuke Fukudome (ChC)
OF: Nick Markakis (Bal)
Util: Nick Swisher (CWS)
SP: Chien-Ming Wang (NYY)
SP: Chad Billingsley (LAD)
SP: Phil Hughes (NYY)
RP: Joba Chamberlain (NYY)
RP: Eric Gagne (Mil)
P: Troy Percival (TB)

We'll see how these gentlemen do before deciding who stays and who gets cut. Find out soon on the next episode of Wow, Sai's Life Is Really Pretty Lame.
